Corporate Responsibility at the Amsterdam Business School

Within several research programmes of the Amsterdam Business School corporate responsibility is studied, using various angles.
Research on sustainability and corporate responsibility encompasses people, planet and profit, i.e. environmental, social as well as economic aspects, and their governance. Investigated themes include:

- Companies and climate/energy (innovation, emission trading);
- Consumers and sustainability/CSR;
- Commercial bank environmental and social risk management (Equator Principles)
- Corporate social responsibility and sustainability by multinationals;
- Partnerships for development;
- Green innovation and product development
- Sustainable/social entrepreneurship;
- Ethical leadership;
- Stakeholder management
- CSR communication, branding and advertising;
- Sustainability reporting and assurance;
- NGO accountability;
- Corporate governance in emerging economies;
- Insider trading;
- The role of shareholders and investors in sustainability/CSR
Most sections have researchers with an interest in on of the topics above but three give CSR more structural attention.
